Mini Film

Image
For this task we were asked to make a short silent film with the exchange of a package and using at least five close ups, one POV shot, one extreme close up, one camera movement, some establishing and re-establishing shots, and one non-cut transition. The things I feel we shot well was the POV of the camera shot, the shot walking past the window and shot of the subject walking over the camera. I think this because these were the shots that had the best clarity and looked the best from an audiences perspective in my opinion. I think we could improve the establishing shots and the closing shots as although they may have set the scene they weren't great quality and could easily be improved. I feel our storyline was good but wasn't great and could easily lead to audiences getting confused and the main plot getting misconstrued, especially when the third character entered as that created a shift in dynamic that may have been hard to follow.

Short film with sound

For this particular task we were asked to film sound effects and then add them to our current silent movies We shot a variety of sound effects including many different sets of footsteps at different speeds and noise levels as well as the opening of doors and a briefcase. I then began to add them to my film by cutting them to the right speeds and adding them to the clips of the film.
